BGC, Philippines- Still basking in the success of her first best-selling book and novel Queen of the Universe: A Novel: Love, Truth, Beauty,” Miss Universe 2015 and actress Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey is now already working on releasing a self-help book.

"Queen of the Universe" tops NBS bestseller list for October

Her best-selling novel is loosely based on her own life as a beauty queen, and topped the National Book Store’s bestselling books (Fiction – International Publication) list in October 2023 in the Philippines.

A perfect time for a new surprise for her followers, Pia recently updated her fans through her Instagram broadcast channel “Life Updates with Pia” that she is actually already writing a self-help book, further sharing it is one of her new projects that she has already started working on.

“So there are a few projects I’m working on at the moment. One of them is a self-help book on how to build confidence and get into the never give up mindset,” she wrote in the channel.

“I’ve started the writing process already. Slowly but surely — all the lessons I learned throughout the years. Would you be interested in a book like that? A guide to life?”

Being open about her battles with mental health and anorexia through the years, the star can indeed positively impact the readers on how one can overcome mental struggles, as she’s been doing it while the world’s eyes are on her.

Her success with her first book has indeed motivated her to touch more lives with her words, insights and mindset. Since the official launch of her literary piece at the Manila International Book Fair in Pasay City in September 2023, Pia has already organized a book tour in Singapore, and is planning several stops in the United States next year.

The beauty queen shared her thoughts on her success as a book author at a book signing event organized by the Center of Advanced Dentistry (CAD) held at The Vault in BGC, Philippines, saying, “This is a pleasant surprise. I found out two days ago (about the book being on top of best-sellers) during the book signing in Cebu. I was like ‘wow, totoo ba?’ I was so proud and this gives me more motivation and energy to keep promoting it and talking about it and doing what we love to do!”
