During its press brief via Zoom last July 31, Lost Lorelei introduced one of its clientele that has entrusted Lost Lorelei with its clothing production. Filipino label And Again Clothing is a sustainable brand that upcycles flour sack clothing and other fabric waste into fashion, with the help of the manufacturing hub of Lost Lorelei,

Hazel Roldan, owner and founder of And Again Clothing, shared her experience with the Australian brand.

“I wanted to work with Lorelei so that I can assure quality with my orders and that my clothes are ethically made. 5-8 working with Lost Lorelei, I can focus on other aspects in my business because I can be assured that the production side is well taken care of. My products will be made well, well made, taken care of, and those who made it are also taken care of. The cycle of sustainability is practiced in my production so I can relax and practice in other parts of my business,” Hazel said.

The Filipino fashion brand owner also imparted what made her interested into ethical fashion.

“I have been interested in sustainability ever since I was a student and the idea of focusing on upcycling flour sacks had such a strong novelty to it, so I decided to stick with it and play around with it. The thing is, most of my clients are NOT interested in the sustainable aspect, so I want to introduce the sustainable story through a different manner. I want to sell my item by the fact that it’s either cool, funny, and novel and that being eco-friendly is just a prerequisite.”

Lost Lorelei’s focus on sustainability has been the driving force behind the brand’s success. The brand believes that sustainability is not just a trend, but a way of life. Lost Lorelei is committed to reducing the environmental impact of fashion by using natural, organic, and recycled materials, reducing waste, and minimizing the carbon footprint of its supply chain.

The decision to open up its sustainable supply chain to other designers was a natural evolution for Lost Lorelei. The brand hopes to use its expertise to help other designers create ethical and sustainable fashion. Since opening up to the public earlier this year, Lost Lorelei has already partnered with two Australian labels, who are now manufacturing their products with the brand.

Lost Lorelei is excited about the opportunity to work with designers all around the world who want to manufacture with complete transparency. The brand is committed to providing a sustainable supply chain that ensures fair wages, safe working conditions, and minimal environmental impact.

Founder and CEO of Lost Lorelei, Lorelei Bookluck, says, “We believe that sustainability is the future of fashion. By opening up our sustainable supply chain, we hope to help other designers create ethical and sustainable fashion. We are excited to work with designers who share our vision and want to make a positive impact on the fashion industry.”

Lost Lorelei’s commitment to sustainability has earned the brand a loyal following of customers who appreciate the brand’s mission and values. With the opening up of its sustainable supply chain to other designers, Lost Lorelei hopes to continue to make a positive impact on the fashion industry, one designer at a time.
