Manila, Philippines — Filipina multi-hyphenate superstar Nadine Lustre showed the world she’s fashionably serious with advocating sustainable style as she rocked the recent Paris Fashion Week 2023 event accessorized in luxury vegan purses to top off her fashion week looks.

Nadine has always been vocal about supporting eco-friendly campaigns be it through promoting ethical fashion on social media, or doing the dirty work as planting trees. In January 2021, the actress teamed up with skincare brand Bioten, organizations For The Future, and Make A Difference (MAD) Travel to raise funds to aid the 20-year reforestation project for the Aetas of Yangil, Zambales in the Philippines. The goal was to gather 88,000 fruit and forest seedlings to be planted and turned into trees.

Showing her fans that doing good never goes out of style, Lustre  made her Paris Fashion Week debut recently with a purpose. The actress was papped rocking some note-worthy looks during the Rui Zhou show. One of the outfits was a sensuous,  monochromatic getup in trousers-and-top combo, accessorized with the Hera bag from Milan-based label Themoire. The Italian ethical fashion line is known for its linings made using 100% recycled materials, predominantly from PET plastic bottles.

The Concrete Crocodile Jacket from Vanitas (2023) collection is “tailored and molded in navy polar fleece.” The designer described his creation in his Instagram account, adding, “The jacket uses a concrete mix made flexible, then cracked and meticulously painted by hand, to mimic luxurious crocodile leather.”

The award-winning actress topped off her sculptural look with another Hera bag from the Milan-based label Themoire, but this time in black colorway.
