Circa 2000s was such a fun era in fashion. What other decade can you name that totally embraced tracksuits and took it to the hip hop scene, red carpet events and super clubs?

Say 2000s Juicy Couture fashion and immediately, paparazzi photos of it-girls Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian will come to mind. And with the upcoming new release from SKIMS, you’re gonna get some major style throwback.

Launching on October 21, the SKIMS Velour collection will re-introduce classic velour silhouettes—from hoodies, joggers, wide-leg pants, to bandeau tops and crew neck tanks.

The SKIMS Velour co-ord suits may be reminiscent of the Y2K fashion, but the modern vibe is  still incorporated through the shapewear brand’s famous neutral colors.

“It’s the perfect blend of 2000s nostalgia and present-day loungewear,” Kim shared with Vogue. To truly add a 2020 feel into the capsule, the upscale loungewear series will also launch some velour robes.

Paris also told Vogue that she’s “living in sweatsuits right now”. The heiress added, “The Velour collection is perfect for looking hot while being comfy.” Totally apt with our at-home activities and Zoom lifestyle these days.

The iconic BFFs star in the Velour campaign images in paparazzi style– even rocking their infamous twinning giant metallic Louis Vuitton bags.

Seriously, how amazing is it to feel that surreal 2006 fashion nostalgia?

The seven interchangeable styles are available in four palettes: sienna, smoke, honey and amethyst. They also come in sizes XXS through 4X. Prices range from $42 to $128.

The SKIMS Velour Collection will launch on the brand’s official website next week.
