With the on-going pandemic happening in the world, fashion houses and lifestyle brands have switched to digital platforms to showcase their new collections. Even the upcoming New York Fashion Week in September will be mostly virtual, while physical runway shows will limit their audience to make sure social distancing measures will be followed. A number of fashion week presentations have launched designer collections online.

The most recent one to do so was Stockholm Fashion Week, which held its first-ever digital presentations via Zoom.

Among the brands that showcased fashion films and lookbooks to the digital show is House Of Dagmar. Founded and established in 2005 by Karin Söderlind, with her sisters Kristina Tjäder and Sofia Wallenstam, the Swedish fashion house had a desire to establish a long-lasting business based on a high-quality approach  in producing long-lasting clothing. The brand’s design ethic is all about being conscious- from practicing of production processes that do not hurt the environment, to carefully choosing materials that do not link to any forms of animal cruelty, and will withstand the test of time.

The trio doesn’t just consider ‘sustainability’ as a trend, but rather an important and central journey of the brand that they established.

House Of Dagmar opted for escapism dream for their SS21 collection, where 90% of the collection is made from sustainable fabrics. The line offers a range of modern, feminine spring/summer wardrobe with elevated essentials, sartorial classic stripe shirting, and more.

The collection also has a range of knitwear like rib-knitted cardigans, tops, skirts, and dresses meant to be essentials to keep the consumers warm and flawless at every occasion. This collection’s color palette consists of neutrals with tones of blues, light yellow, and greens. The brand wants the pieces to be loved and used by consumers as long-term clothing classics that they can wear and style over and over in the coming years. Featured below are a few pieces from the Spring/Summer 2021 collection:
