Denim jeans has been a fashion staple for all genders for the past millennium. It is laidback yet edgy, and with tons of creativity, you can style it a million ways. Okay, not literally a million, but you know what I mean.

From the wide bell bottom pants of the ’70s to the mom jeans of the ’90s, and a mix of bootleg and elephant trends in the early 2000s (OMG the nostalgia!), denim jeans will always find its way to our daily go-to’s. And while you’re cozying up at home dreaming of your  previously carefree, casual, mask-less shenanigans outside, we gathered here some styling ways to highlight your fave denim pants according to the style book of your favorite celebrities– you know, for when you can go out wild and free again:

Cozy and Casual

Our favorite Filipina blogger Laureen Uy styled this light-washed denim mom jeans with a white tank-top paired with a long purple cardigan, white Birkenstock sandals. She accessorized it with chains and specs. This look is so relaxed, yet looks pretty cool,  kinda nice too for your WFH outfit. It screams ‘I am just chillin’ at home, but still trynna look cute’. As Laureen has put it, “Dressing up at home for all my zoom meetings always makes me feel a little better and cuter.”

Okay, first of all– how cute are those jeans with ripped end details that scream pre-millennium fashion . American pop star Selena Gomez is seen here out and about grabbing her favorite tea looking effortlessly cute in this OOTD. The Rare Beauty founder styled this boot-cut lightly distressed bottom jeans with a white turtleneck topped off with a cute dinosaur sweater. The outfit was finished off with a pair of nude pumps and white purse, adding a little classic femininity into this seemingly quirky outfit. She wore it with some red-tinted sunglasses, that’s again, so pre-millennium fashion! Running errands can be THIS stylish, babe!

Stylist to the stars Liz Uy attended a show in Milan wearing a chic denim-on-denim ensemble, with an interesting structural printed polo inside. Finishing off this look are her white strappy heels, a red chained handbag, matching those red big, edgy sunglasses. Use this style peg for when  you are attending a cool event too.

Filipina-Australian R&B singer Jess Connelly is all about streetwear. A singer known in the hip-hop scene in Asia, Connelly both embodies glam and street style in her outfits. The ‘Hooked’ singer is seen here vibin’ in Tokyo wearing a high-waisted wide black jeans, and she styled it with a neutral-colored turtleneck sweater, topped with a striking printed polo. Honestly a few can pull this off but then JCon wouldn’t be JCon without her fierce street style, right?

Filipina actress and it-girl Julia Barreto is seen here wearing a high-waisted lightly-ripped jeans. She kept it simple with a black asymmetrical top and a comfy white high-top sneakers. Talk about looking effortlessly glam, classic, cool, edgy and minimalist all at the same time!

Supermodel Kendall Jenner knows how to incorporate some California fun into her outfit, I mean, how cute are those puffed, ruffled, floral sleeves? This look would have been too girly, but then she paired it with lightly baggy pants and a pair of black Oxford lace-up shoes. This does not even need accessorizing anymore because the puffy sleeves are kinda uncommonly cute, yet the overall vibe is still edgy.

Grammy-winning British singer Dua Lipa looks undeniably hot and fierce in this outfit! Flaunting her physique, the ‘New Rules’ singer is seen here wearing mom jeans paired with a fiery red bralette and a pair of black sneakers. The singer accessorized this look with metal chains a chunky belt. This is so reminiscent of the early ’90s rock fashion era, but made elevated with that sexy, millennial styling.

Just when you think you have worn your jeans a lot of ways, there will always be an updated, cool way of styling this wardrobe basic. All you need is to get out of your comfort zone and be a little more experimental with your mixin’ and matching. Which among our list is your favorite celebrity denim ensemble?
