In a captivating fusion of time-honored tradition and modern allure, Andrada’s collection reverently celebrates local textiles, reimagining the essence of piña and inabel fabrics.

Aptly described as a “fusion of timeless Filipiniana heritage and contemporary allure,” the collection graced the inaugural “Art of Living” event, revealing ten pieces that breathe new life into traditional elements. Andrada’s creative journey embarked with a feminine reimagining of the classic barong, where delicate embroidery and crystal embellishments adorned piña tops.

The signature butterfly sleeves took on a bolero form with intricate beading, while digitally printed rattan and solihiya skirts paid homage to the Philippines’ rich basket heritage.

An enchanting highlight emerged as an airbrushed dress took the spotlight, adorned with a custom rattan belt and hand-beaded stockings styled alongside Swarovski crystal-adorned salakot headpieces. Andrada’s vision encapsulates the essence of ready-to-wear, focusing on the natural hues of piña to seamlessly merge with modern silhouettes.
