It’s that 1-Day Tattoo Makeup… for your lips.

K-Palette, a Japanese brand known for its “1 Day Tattoo Makeup,” has long been wowing celebrity makeup artists and beauty fans alike with their immovable brow products. Just recently, the brand has once again impressed the beauty glitterati with the release of its collection of long-lasting lip tint sticks. This new lip tint innovation is the counterpart of the cult favorite 1-day tattoo brow product,  completing your ultimate budge-proof makeup look from the eyes, all the way down to the lips.

The K-Palette Lasting Semi-Matte Lip Tint Sticks are the skin-caring lip buddies you’ve been looking for. With Ceramide NP to protect the lips, Sodium Hyaluronate to lock in moisture and Shea Butter to deliver natural gloss, this semi matte tint truly has all that it takes to achieve an easy, fuss-free lip look. Housed in sleek, lightweight aluminum tubes, these lip beauty offerings won’t take up too much space in your makeup kit. The compact packaging is so chic and modern, yet Japanese-minimalist.

This revolutionary tint formulation comes in a solid stick format, so it’s much more convenient to use and apply. Each lip tint stick glides on like a cream, and dries down to a comfortable semi-matte finish. Definitely a welcome break from the stressful, uneven application of typical liquid lip tints!

Traditional tints will normally be semi-transparent, but these can seriously pack in rich, real colors! It almost feels weird to call them lip tints because they really apply more like creme lipsticks. Depending on how you layer it, you can achieve any look from a discreet stain, all the way to a powerful lip statement. Made by K-Palette Japan in collaboration with K-Palette Philippines, these babies are engineered with the Filipina in mind. The four universally-flattering, Pinay-perfect shades are:

01 Paprika Red is a spicy chili red. This looks like your typical blood-red lip tint color, which is very easy to wear across light to dark skin tones. The vividness lends a touch of youth. And depending on how much you apply, it can be a fuss-free face brightener, or a seriously bold lip.

02 Mauve Crush is an easy dusty rose. This is a no-brainer MLBB (my lips but better) shade for medium to fair skin tones. Don’t expect it to clash with cool to warm skin, but it may not do much for those on the darker side.

03 Orange Sunset is a burnt sienna. This fiery clay shade is a show-stopping brown-red when applied to full opacity, but merely leaves a light peach tint when worn down. Like the rest of the shades, it seems wearable for most Pinay skin tones, except Orange Sunset would be easiest to wear for medium to deep-toned morenas.

04 Woody Nude is a more neutral, brown shade. This color is perfect for Pinays who want a more subdued color, that is neither too bright nor too distracting. Those looking for a darker nude that isn’t too red may find this modern nude really interesting.

Luscious and creamy to the touch, these lip tint sticks benefit from a lot of pressing and lip smacking. The massaging motion allows the pigment to sink in and leave a stain on the lips. Despite multiple layers of this product, you can bet that it will fade elegantly once it comes time to eat or drink. Say bye bye to those ghastly lipstick patches!

If you find yourself moving about the #NewNormal, blot them down to wear as weightless stains under your face mask. If you wake up late for a Zoom conference, quickly swipe on a dose of believable color to look somewhat put together. These lip tints will not disappoint!
