Luxury today is no longer defined solely by craftsmanship or heritage. Increasingly, it is shaped by the choices brands make behind the scenes, from how materials are sourced to how ecosystems and communities are protected. Against this backdrop, sustainability has become part of the modern luxury lifestyle, not an add-on, but an expectation.

On December 10, LVMH gathered its Maisons, partners, and sustainability leaders in Paris for the inaugural LIFE 360 Awards, marking a key moment in the Group’s long-term environmental transformation. Held under the leadership of Antoine Arnault and Hélène Valade, the ceremony recognized 13 initiatives selected from 187 projects submitted by 41 Maisons.

The awards sit at the center of LIFE 360, LVMH’s environmental roadmap launched in 2019, which structures the Group’s strategy around five pillars: climate, biodiversity, creative circularity, traceability and transparency, and stakeholder engagement. The timing is notable. LVMH has once again earned a CDP triple “A” rating for climate, forests, and water, reinforcing its position as a sustainability leader within the global luxury sector.

Progress under LIFE 360 has been measurable. Since 2019, the Group has reduced direct greenhouse gas emissions by 55 percent, reaching its 2026 target two years ahead of schedule. More than 3.8 million hectares of natural habitats have been preserved or regenerated, recycled materials now account for 33 percent of products and packaging, and indirect supply-chain emissions have fallen by roughly one third, driven by advances in circularity, biodiversity, and traceability.

The 13 awarded initiatives reflected the scale and diversity of this transformation. They ranged from regenerative livestock farming for leather, water stewardship from vineyard to bottling, and solar energy deployment in manufacturing, to low-carbon logistics, ESG-linked executive governance, biodiversity education centered on bees, digital product passports, and circular reuse of dormant materials. Several projects also highlighted collaboration across Maisons and suppliers, proving that impact grows when solutions are shared.

A special jury recognition spotlighted long-term soil regeneration efforts across the Group’s wines and spirits portfolio, underscoring LVMH’s expanding focus on regenerative agriculture and ecosystem health.

In a world where consumers increasingly connect values with lifestyle choices, the LIFE 360 Awards show how luxury can evolve without losing its soul. By embedding sustainability into strategy, operations, and creativity, LVMH is positioning responsible action as part of the everyday luxury experience, not just for today, but for the generations that follow.
