Valentino Unveiled Spring/Summer 2021 Haute Couture Collection

Valentino’s new Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2021 is all about Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli’s belief that the digital and artisanal can co-exist

Titled Code Temporal, the Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2021 collection of Valentino showcases the beautiful contrast of the handmade processes of couture craftsmanship with digital renderings. The collection was unveiled from the Galleria Colonna, Sala Grande in Rome, Italy.

The 73-piece series mostly features a mixture of wearable high street-like couture in cream palettes flawlessly merged with solid colors like fuchsia, green, sky blue, tangerine and mustard colors, and sparkling gowns towards the show finale

Pierpaolo Piccioli shared the new couture collection looks at “the mastery of the handmade as timeless code and value,” while simultaneously examining it through 21st century technology. To expand on these ideas, the virtual presentation features a dialogue between the creative director and British artist Robert Del Naja. You can watch the entire virtual fashion presentation here.
