Style Inspo: ROTATE Birger Christensen S/S2022 at Copenhagen Fashion Week

Danish label ROTATE Birger Christensen has recently showcased its Spring/Summer 2022 collection at the Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Creative directors Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars took inspiration from the iconic ’90s TV sitcom character Frane Fine played by Fran Drescher on The Nanny. The spacious runway show venue was adorned with vintage sports cars, which made for a perfect backdrop for mini dresses paired with boots and strappy sandals, sequined tops matched with baggy low-cut pants, and furry bandeau top and glossy leather pants.

The runway presentation indeed exuded major ’90s fashion nostalgia as it featured the eclectic styles the decade has been known for: some grunge-inspired, a little hip hop, and some sparkling pre-millennium girlish punk.
