Cagayan de Oro-based fashion designer Ann F. Semblante has combined femme fatale power and sensual grotesque sensibilities in her recently unveiled runway collection for Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival Season 12.
Ann is a renowned Kagay-anon fashion designer, loved for her atelier known as the House of A. An active member of the Oro Fashion Designers Guild and the overall chairperson of the Mindanao Fashion Summit, this designer is one of the forces behind one of the biggest fashion events in the Mindanao region, which is currently on its 10th year.
With her new collection dubbed as ‘Haute Goth’, Semblante complements a woman’s body with her all-black ensembles of bodycons, top and pants ensembles and bodysuit offerings. Each one is with unique cuts and sexy silhouettes– elevated by either their sheer elements, corset-like details in gold and silver accents, or leather-like materials.
