Filipina actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga is on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam’s 10th Anniversary Issue!
The coolest part is she is the only Filipina to be among the roster of cover stars– which includes pop star and rapper Iggy Azalea, GOT7’s Youngjae, and Miss Global 2019 Karolína Kokešová.
Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam’s Instagram page shared the news with a caption that describes Alex Gonzaga as a multi-hyphenate star.
“Alex Gonzaga, the Filipina television host, actress, singer, comedian, entrepreneur, vlogger, and author, graces today’s cover of our anniversary month,” the caption read.
In the article, the publication shared how Alex started in the biz, as well as her other endeavors. “This girl with shiny black hair, delicate face started her career right after finishing high school. In 2006, Gonzaga played Alex in the ABS-CBN sitcom Let’s Go . The success of the role made her name popular. Alex has since also become her stage name. Not only a star, Alex Gonzaga is also a sharp businessman. She founded the beverage brand Happy Cup. Currently, Happy Cup is franchised in many places in the Philippines.”
The photos were shot by celebrity and fashion photographer Seven Barretto assisted by Claude Villahermosa, with set designed by art director Erwin Botin. Alex was styled by Cathleen Sobrevega, and glammed up by makeup artist Carissa Cielo Medved and hairstylist Jerry Javier.
